The Time Warriors and Beyond 
As much as I enjoyed the exhilaration of Total Recall, as with quite a few action thrillers at the time, when I first saw it a few times in the cinema, it’s undeniably not the same for me now. And indeed with how fans can truly appreciate the core material for Philip K. Dick’s work that not too many filmmakers seem to have appreciated enough. As a message on how memories may but not necessarily should define us, I can still applaud the heroism of Douglas Quaid for making the right choice in the end and saving Mars. The quite excellent fight between Lori and Melina is still timeless and as the first film to earn my respects for Sharon Stone, I can certainly remember it fondly for that. No comments on the remake, apart from my not liking anything about it even if Colin Farrell was impressive casting as always.
