Following the events of The Reality War, the trailer for the new Doctor Who spin off The War Between The Land and The Sea has been released. Starring Gemma Redgrave, Freema Agyeman and Russell Tovey, we will see the appearance of the Sea Devils and Silurians once more. But is Salt the new Sea Devil design? And how is she connected to Barclay?

Very encouraging spinoff trailer and especially with the beautiful new look for the Sea Devils.
Trying to adjust a familiar Whoniversal non-humanoid being for the modern series can have its inevitable challenges. After what they could already achieve with the Silurians, I think that it’s timely enough for the Sea Devils too. But yes, hopefully they’ll find the wisdom to not overdo it.
